Digital X-rays We take X Rays of your teeth using digital technology that allows up to 90% less radiation and a clearer picture. Through the use of Schick digital X Rays in our office utilize this patient friendly digital technology. X Ray images are put on a computer monitor instead of a tiny piece of film. By seeing X Ray images in a larger format, you can understand your dental condition clearer. Through a clearer understanding of your dental condition, often apprehension about procedures are reduced. Xrays play an important part in the diagnosis and planning of your  dental treatment. They provide high resolution 2D images, using sensitive high-resolution digital sensors. This sort of image is routinely used to diagnose decay, gum disease, and to measure the bone available for dental implant placement, or prior to extractions.
